Firefighters rescue couple from Doncaster car crash

A COUPLE had to be rescued from a car crash on the M18 near Doncaster early today.

Two children in the car managed to free themselves after the accident between Armthorpe and Hatfield on the north-bound carriageway.

Fire crews from Doncaster and Thorne fire stations and a technical rescue unit were called to the crash around midnight and got the man and woman out of the vehicle before they were taken to hospital.

No details of their injuries have been disclosed yet.
