Firefighters cut man from car

FIRE crews were called to help a motorist trapped in his vehicle, late last night at Wentworth.

A man in his forties was released from his vehicle at Hague Lane, near Wentworth Garden Centre, just after 11.45pm.

A fire service spokeswoman said that no other vehicles were involved in the incident, that was attended by crews from Dearne and Tankersley stations.

They left the scene at about 12.20am.
