Doncaster school wins grit bin

NEWS: News.

NEWS: News.

A DONCASTER primary school is among over 200 from across the UK selected on a first-come, first-served basis by gritting firm Gritit to have a free salt bin installed.

John Birch, headteacher at Misson Primary, said: “Our rural location means we’ve been hit hard by the snow and ice in the past. Although we managed to stay open during the cold spell in January, in previous years we’ve had to delay arrivals while we ensured we had a safe route into the school.”
