Doncaster police round up lost pony

NEWS: News.

NEWS: News.

Police in Doncaster are appealing to the public to help reunite a lost Shetland pony with its owners.

The pony has been in police ‘custody’ since last Sunday when officers were told it was galloping along Thorne Road toward Doncaster town centre at around 6.10am.

They were able to restrain the horse, which is believed to be a Shetland pony, but they have been unable to identify or locate the owner.

Anyone who believes this may be their Shetland, or who has any information as to who the owners are, should contact the police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 240 of March 10.
