A COLLEGE in Doncaster is giving hearing-impaired students from across the country the chance to view its facilities at an open day this week.

The Communication Specialist College Doncaster will welcome young people, parents, professionals and carers to its Leger Way campus on March 9.

The college, which is run by Doncaster Deaf Trust, offers a variety of courses for students who are deaf or hearing-impaired and those with communication difficulties who are considering further education.

Courses available at the purpose-built campus include media and office technologies, construction, sport, recreation and leisure studies, health education and social studies. Current students will act as tour guides and share their own experiences.
