Donation hits high note
Students Jack Hardman on saxophone, Jade Carver on flute and Harry Cockburn on clarinet with Trinity Academy's head of music Sam Fisher and John Brandon, of Howarth Timber.
MUSIC at a South Yorkshire academy has hit a high note thanks to a donation from a local company.
The support from Thorne’s Howarth Timber and Building Supplies means more students at Trinity Academy can take up a wind instrument.
Sam Fisher, head of music, said: “Music plays a central role in much of academy life and the students here have great enthusiasm for learning instruments.”
Howarth’s John Brandon said: “We are pleased to support them, especially through music and providing instruments that will be a lasting legacy now and in the future.”
