Devices available to keep away burglars

POLICE are appealing for Isle residents to review their home security as the nights draw in.

Lincolnshire Police Inspector Phil Baker urged residents to purchase special devices which make it appear that your home is occupied.

He said: “The main thing is making your house look and sound occupied before you get home from work. The best way to do this is to buy some timer switches and set them to come on in rooms at the front and back of the house.”

Call Lincolnshire Police for more information about the switches on 101.
