The following people appeared at Doncaster Magistrates Court charged with the following offences...

Edlington: A meat thief has escaped a stint in the joint. Instead Sara Ann Howarth, 21, of South View was fined £50 after admitting stealing the beef joint from Crashaws Butchers on December 7.

Wheatley: Assaulting two police officers landed a Doncaster man with a community order. Jason Lill, 21, of Durham Road was found guilty of assaulting two officers on July 26. He was ordered to complete 36 hours unpaid work and pay £950.

Woodlands: A booze thief is in bad spirits after being slapped with a community order. Billie Jean Cottingham, 24, of The Crescent admitted taking £24 of alcohol from Co-op on October 25. As part of her punishment he was ordered to comply with a ten week curfew.

Stainforth: Looking after a dog after being made the subject of a an animal welfare disqualification order landed a woman with a community order. Leanne Bowser, 32, of Large Square admitted the offence that took place on November 8. She was ordered to pay £145.
