THE following people appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court charged with the following offences.
BESSACARR: A teenager failed to stop following a collision with another car. Ben McCabe, of Long Close, pleaded guilty to driving off following the collision in Goodison Boulevard on March 4. The 18-year-old was fined £80, ordered to pay £65 and had five points put on his licence by magistrates.
DONCASTER: A pensioner pleaded guilty to a driving offence and was left with five points on her licence. Pauline Leggott admitted driving without due care and attention along Hurst Lane in Auckley on March 17. The 77-year-old, of Nearfield Road, was also ordered to pay out £250 which included a fine and costs.
INTAKE: David Alan Baines may have to stick to soft drinks in future after being left £140 out of pocket after being caught drunk in a public place. The 28-year-old from Tudor Road, pleaded guilty to the offence in Armthorpe Road, Wheatley, on May 8. He was fined £75 and ordered to pay costs of £65.
ROSSINGTON: Terence Oxley-Bryan was given a community order after being abusive and threatening towards a woman. The 40-year-old received an eight-week curfew where he must remain at his home in McConnell Crescent between 9.30pm and 6.30pm and was electronically tagged. Oxley-Bryan also had to pay £85 costs.
