The following people have appeared at Doncaster Magistrate’s Court:

THORNE: A 25-year-old caught with a gramme of cocaine has suffered a blow after being put under a six-week curfew. Indaprit Singh, of Alexandra Street, pleaded guilty to possession of the class A drug and was ordered to be under curfew at his home between 7pm and 6am until May 24. He was also told to pay £85 in costs.

BALBY: A booze thief is not in the best of spirits after being ordered to pay £85 in costs for stealing £8.30 of alcohol. Martin Turner, 20, of Littlemoor Lane, pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of alcohol from the One Stop Store in Wheatley on March 3. He has now been told to complete 60 hours on unpaid work over the next year.

CANTLEY: A 32-year-old from Goodison Boulevard is in for a smashing time under a four week curfew for kicking in a police car window. Gary Paul Floyd, 32, pleaded guilty to causing £131.26 of criminal damage to the rear, nearside car window and was told to pay the costs of repair back to the police force, and stay at his home between 2pm and 8pm until May 11.

MEXBOROUGH: An angler caught without a license has netted a £200 fine. Thomas Brooke, 31, of Brookefield Avenue, was found guilty in his absence of fishing at Bank End Fisheries, near Westwoodside last August. He was told to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £122 to the Environment Agency.
