YOUNG recruits and their employers have been rewarded at the annual Doncaster College Apprenticeship of the Year Awards.

Each winner received a certificate or a trophy in the honours, designed to acknowledge exceptional contributions to apprenticeships.

Gemma Tuckey was named Advanced Apprentice of the Year, Michael Spencer won Personal Achiever of the Year award, while DMBC’s North Bridge Depot won the Large Employer of the Year award.

Apprentice Champion was Dami Omilabu, Small Employer went to Premier Storage and Office Solutions while Zoe Stanyard was named Intermediate Apprentice.
