EIGHT Chinese visitors travelled 5,000 miles to get a taste of Doncaster life.

Doncaster College welcomed the group from Ningbo Beilun Vocational School in China as part of a new partnership and, during their week, students participated in English classes at The Hub.

The students were accompanied by a trio of school staff who were given a tour of The Hub’s vocational areas including creative arts, mechanical engineering and hospitality and catering.

Aliya Sorgen of Doncaster College said: “It was an honour to welcome the visitors from Ningbo Beilun and to be able to showcase the fantastic facilities the college and Doncaster has to offer international students.”
