GRIEVING relatives, neighbours and friends of Lewis Eddleston will gather in Doncaster tonight to pay tribute to the teenager.

The 13-year-old’s body was found in a ditch on a remote stretch of land close to his school yesterday afternoon by police.

Lewis, of Wilberforce Road, Clay Lane, had been missing from home since 4pm on Sunday after leaving a group of friends on fields near Tesco supermarket in Edenthorpe after telling them he needed the toilet.

From 6pm tonight, hundreds of people are planning to gather near the boating lake in Sandall Park, Wheatley to remember the Hungerhill School pupil by lighting candles and laying flowers.

Police investigations into Lewis’s death are continuing.
