Bus driver hurt in Doncaster crash

A BUS driver had to be released from his cab early today after a crash at Marr, near Doncaster.

The First National bus collided with a lorry on the A635 near the entrance to Marr Hall Farm and fire crews from Adwick and a technical rescue unit were called in to free him from his seat.

The driver, a man in his 40s, was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

There were no passngers on the bus at the time of the crash, which caused a closure of the road.
