TWO brothers have been punished for harassing the same woman.

Christopher Palmer, 27, of Shakespeare Road, Bentley, appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court charged with breaching a restraining order when he contacted his victim between April 1 and November 6.

His brother, Neil Palmer, of the same age and address, admitted harassing the same woman via Facebook 13 times between August and November.

Christopher Palmer pleaded guilty to breaching his restraining order and received a four-week prison sentence, consecutive to six weeks.

The court said he committed the offence in full knowledge he had a restraining order while subject to a suspended sentence.

He was also aware his brother was sending messages to the woman.

Neil Palmer received a community order from magistrates, including a six month supervision order. A restraining was made banning him from contacting the woman.
