ONE OF Yorkshire’s favourite outdoor entertainment venues today announced that a second chart-topping act will be performing there over the spring.

Doncaster Racecourse, has announced that Lawson will be performing at Town Moor live after racing on Saturday, May 18, 2013. The London based four-piece are just one of two live music acts who are set to grace the stage at Doncaster after racing on the May 18, with the next act set to be confirmed on Thursday, February 21.

Mark Spincer, managing director at Doncaster Racecourse said: “We’re delighted that we have managed to sign up Lawson as one the two acts for our May 18 raceday.

“Since launching their first single last May, Lawson have been extremely successful with three top five hits. Our outdoor concerts are hugely popular – and it’s great to be able to bring two major acts to perform live against the stunning backdrop of the racecourse.”

Music and horse racing fans alike are being urged to book tickets as soon as possible for what is predicted to be a sell-out event. Adult tickets start from just £30, children’s tickets are £11. Hospitality options available from £80 + VAT.

All tickets and hospitality for the event, which go on sale at 12pm on Monday, February 18, include racing followed by live music from Lawson plus one more another live music act.
