Breaking News: Crowle cyclist dies

The 94-year-old Crowle man was riding a silver coloured electrically assisted pedal cycle when the collision happened with a red coloured Seat Ibiza car being driven by a 29-year-old Crowle man.

The crash happened at the junction of High Street and Godnow Road in Crowle, shortly after 3pm on Tuesday, November 6.

A Humberside Police spokeswoman said today: “Sadly the gentleman died earlier this morning in Scunthorpe General Hospital.

“Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision and ask that any witnesses contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 367 of 06 November 2012.”
