Body found on Doncaster area farm

Investigations are continuing today after a body was found on farmland at Everton, near Bawtry, over the weekend.

Officers received a call from a member of the public on Saturday and a cordon was set up around the farmland off Sluice Lane.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said the inquiries were “currently ongoing”.

He added the cordon would remain in place while forensic examinations took place.
