Appeal after alleged attack by man with knife

Police have released an e-fit following an assault in Campsall.

Police have released an e-fit following an assault in Campsall.

a WOMAN is reported to have suffered minor injuries to her arm after she stepped outside her home to find a man in her garden wielding a knife.

The 25-year-old was alerted to a noise outside by a dog barking and then on leaving her house was approached by the man.

Detectives have released an e-fit image of the man who is alleged to have carried out the attack.

The incident is reported to have happened in the Campsall area on September 19 at 5.45pm.

She suffered minor injuries to her arm. It is believed he was in her garden on several occasions prior to this incident.

The alleged offender is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 6ft tall, medium build, with shaved light coloured hair. He was wearing a black hooded jumper and dark jeans.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen someone who resembles the description given or the e-fit (pictured).
