In brief

MISTERTON Parish Council has voted unanimously that any development of the old library site should be for a limited number of single storey dwellings.

Parish councillors said any development should be suitable for those with mobility issues after considering the location, which is level, and the site’s proximity to shops, the post office, Misterton Centre and bus routes.

The parish clerk is to write to site owners Nottinghamshire County Council - which is planning to dispose of the site - and Bassetlaw Planning Department.
