ARMED louts have shot dead a number of swans in Hatfield Woodhouse.
The RSPCA has launched an investigation to catch those responsible and is appealing for help to catch the killers.
In the latest incident a swan was found dead near Stainforth Moor Road in Hatfield Woodhouse on Sunday, March 6, with a
bullet hole through its neck.
Residents in the area have said at least three other swans and a deer have been shot dead in the last few weeks.
