A talk on the history of St Norbert’s Church in Crowle will be given in the town next month.
Members of Crowle and Ealand Heritage Society will gather at Crowle Community Hub for the talk on Thursday, October 9, from 7.30pm.
Alan Gidney will give a presentation on the church which was built in 1872 to serve the needs of the Roman Catholic community.
He will also give an insight into the church’s little known link with a Belgian Abbey.
Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting for free.
Members will also be able to give details about becoming a member of the heritage society and details about upcoming talks in the autumn programme.
