TELEVISION legend The Fonz is coming to Doncaster.

The Happy Days icon, better known as actor Henry Winkler, will be at the Frenchgate Centre branch of WHSmith on March 12.

The American star will be in town as part of a UK book signing tour to raise awareness of learning difficulties in childen and encouraging youngsters and their parents to read more to each other.

The event, which takes place from 4pm, will give customers the opportunity to meet Henry, author of a series of books about The World’s Greatest Underachiever, a boy called Hank Zipzer.

He will be in store promoting the most recent title, Hank Zipzer and The Parent Teacher Trouble.
