RESIDENTS who are members of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have the opportunity to vote for Governors to represent their local communities.

The election is for 11 public governors - Doncaster has nine vacancies and Bassetlaw two vacancies.

The Board of Governors represents the views of patients, the public, staff and provides support to the Trust to ensure that it delivers services that best meet the needs of the patients.

Ballot papers are being distributed to Members of the Trust and the ballot will close on February 26. The result of the ballot will be announced on February 27.
