HEALTH bosses are telling Thorne people there is still time to get vaccinated to help protect against a potential increase in swine flu this winter.
Concerns have been raised the uptake on winter flu jabs is down despite more swine flu cases.
People who are eligible are being told they can still get the jab to be immunised against the three strains of flu.
Paul Johnstone, regional director of public health for NHS Yorkshire and the Humber, said: “People in at risk groups are more likely to develop complications if they catch flu.
“The seasonal flu jab will not only protect them but it will also protect their families and the people around them.”
