Big hearted NHS staff have given a huge boost to this year’s Barnardo’s Gift Appeal, meaning more smiles on Christmas morning for disadvantaged children and teenagers.
Staff who work across Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) have donated over 180 gifts to the appeal, which were collected this week ready to deliver to the region’s children.
This is the second year the Trust has supported the appeal, which saw presents roll in to drop-off points in Doncaster, Rotherham and Scunthorpe over a four week period.
Liz James, who organises the appeal for RDaSH said: “We’re delighted with the generous support we’ve received again from staff this year.
“We hope our gifts go some small way towards making this Christmas a happy one for the young people who receive them.”
