The sister of a Paralympian athlete has joined the ranks of a charity which helps fund life-saving equipment at the hospital where he was treated.

Corin McCann is now a senior fundraiser for Sheffield cause Neurocare, which helps to fund the neurology department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

Her brother Craig - who is from Doncaster and represented Great Britain in wheelchair fencing - had a brain tumour removed at the hospital in 2003.

Corin said: “I’m really grateful to work for a charity I am really passionate about.”

Another new face at the charity, based in Hunters Bar, is assistant fundraiser Holly Ashton.
