BRIGHT futures in business await pupils at Wadworth Primary as they turned their hands to buying and selling.

Classrooms were transformed into bustling centres of trade as youngsters sold their wares to parents as part of an introduction to the business world.

The budding entrepreneurs spent the week creating goods to sell including handmade delights such as Pigs In a Bag, soft toys and cookies.

Mums and dads were thrilled to go along on the last day of Enterprise Week, which ran from February 19 to 24, as pupils set up stall to sell their products.

The event was the culmination of five days of work developing maths, design and artistic talents at the Meadow Rise school.

Pupils from age groups across the school took part in the project.
