THREE legendary acts will take to the stage for ‘Boogie Nights’ at The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe this weekend.

The hits will just keep coming, filling the night with smooth funk, reggae and soul when Aswad, Alexander O’Neal and Heatwave perform on Saturday,
September 29.

After 15 albums and two decades on the music scene, Aswad remain one of Britain’s best loved reggae bands. Amongst others, they will sing their hits “Don’t Turn Around”, “Shine” and “On and On”.

Soul legend Alexander O’Neal’s popularity in the UK has been constantly reiterated with numerous sell out tours and a BBC TV special. All his six albums have charted both in the UK and the USA, helping him clock up more than 162 weeks in the Guinness Book of Albums. He will perform his hits “Criticize”, “If You Were Here Tonight” and “Hearsay”.

Heatwave, one of the most popular soul bands of the past few decades, blend sweet soul grooves and great pop/soul/dance songs. With hits like “Mind Blowing Decisions”, “Boogie Nights” and the all time classic “Always and Forever”, Heatwave are no strangers to chart success with a string of hits reaching the top 20, and the foot stomping “Boogie Nights” climbing all the way to number one in 1977.
