A vital emergency service is flying high after receiving the support of charitable bank customers from Thorne.

Branches donated £1,000 to the organisation after customers from both banks decided it was a worthwhile cause.

The community fund, launched last summer, also handed over donations to the RSPCA, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Dogs for the Disabled.

David Ellis, senior NatWest bank manager in Doncaster area, said: “The community fund has been a huge success with many charities across the area benefitting from cash donations.”
