Staff at a housing scheme are holding an event on Sunday July 21 from 1pm at Rokeby Gardens, Queen Mary Crescent, Kirk Sandall to raise cash for Abigail Cook who is battling Batten Disease.

Alison Springall, Care Co-Ordinator for Housing 21 said: “The event is open to anyone, so we’re hoping that lots of local people will come along and take part. It’s for a really good cause and we’d all like to see Abigail achieve all her wishes.”

The money will be used for Abigail’s wishes on her ‘bucket list’ of things she’d like to do.

Attractions on the day include street dancers, a mass Zumba class and Bouncy castle, clown and face painting
