Fright Night: Free Halloween monster mask downloads
HALLOWEEN is a frighteningly fun time for dressing up but if the kids don’t have a costume yet we can help - with our FREE Fright Night monster masks, writes digital editor Graham Walker.
They can choose from being a Werewolf, Mummy or Frankenstein’s monster.
Our masks are free to download, easy to make and the kids will have a scream wearing them. We’d also like your photos to publish in paper and online.
It couldn’t be easier to get them. Decide on the masks you want and click on the appropriate links below.
They will appear in your internet browser. Use the “save as” toolbar option to download and save it, as a PDF file, to your computer. Saving to your desktop will make it easy to find.
Alternatively, right click the link and use the “save target as” option, again to download the file to your computer.

Now go to the downloaded file, click to open it and use your tool bar to print it out, ideally on an A4 sheet of card, or paper. Using photo quality paper and printing at best photo quality would work well.
If it’s not on strong card or paper, Glue the A4 sheet to a piece of card - a cereal box would be great - and give it a few minutes to set.
Cut out the mask, along the dotted lines, and the eye holes using a pair of safety scissors - get an adult to do this. Then attach a piece of string to fit to size.
And that’s it. You’re all ready for Halloween.
We want to see your downloaded mask and other Halloween pictures. We’ll publish the best in The Star or online.
By email send your photos as a JPG, ideally no bigger than 1mb each, with your name, contact numbers and caption details - including full names, ages, plus where you took your photo. Include StarFright in the subject line and email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Facebook, upload them with names. ages and location only, to The Star page at www.facebook.com/sheffieldstar.
Or tweet them to us on Twitter @SheffieldStar and use the hashtag #StarFright.
