Visitors to a Doncaster shopping centre can now surf the web for free, following the centre’s move to introduce free Wi-Fi.
Free access to the internet is now available throughout the Frenchgate shopping centre,
To take advantage of the free Wi-Fi, all shoppers need to do is select the centre’s Wi-Fi network in their device’s settings and follow the on-screen instructions
Laurie Barton Wright, Centre Manager, said: “This exciting development is another fantastic service that we are delighted to bring to our loyal shoppers. The free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the centre allowing our customers to go online while they have a coffee, shop or grab a bite to eat.
“Research suggests half of all shoppers expect their shopping centre to provide a Wi-Fi service, while four out of five customers aged between 18-34 use the internet when out shopping, so this is an important new service for Frenchgate, enabling us to enhance the customer experience further. “
The development is part of Frenchgate’s recently announced £10m investment performance plan, which includes new stores as well as unit upsizing and refits.
