A Doncaster fish and chip shop has issued its own CCTV picture of a man they are seeking in connection with a break-in at the premises.
Harry’s Fish Bar in Dunsville was targeted last weekend - and although nothing was taken in the raid, the owners are keen to see the man caught by police.
Employee Elena Raouna said: “This man needs catching. It’s sickening that for small family run business that work so hard to keep running they think they can come and take what isn’t theirs.”
Nothing was taken in the incident in the early hours of last Saturday night. The shop is currently closed and undergoing renovations as part of its transformation into a fish and chip shop with adjoining restaurant.
According to staff, the man was wearing Nike air trainers, Voy jeans and a hoodie with a cap on. He wore white gloves and also tried to disconnect wires for the alarm and CCTV system - but the whole incident was caught on camera.
Added Elena: “It’s all over Facebook too and lots of people are coming forward or ringing the police on 101. I really appreciate the effort everyone is making as a community to catch him.”
