FOSTERING information and a packed programme of events on the subject have kicked-off this week.
People interested in becoming foster parents are invited to find out more by going to the informative events held across the borough including Thorne.
The programme is part of the national Fostering Fortnight campaign which began on Monday.
People are invited to the event on Wednesday, May 25, at Thorne Children’s Centre in Fieldside, from 10.30am until 2pm.
Chris Pratt, Doncaster Council’s director of the children services, said: “Fostering Fortnight is a great opportunity for local people, of all ages and backgrounds, who have either thought or are thinking about the rewarding role of a foster carer to call in at one of our events and find out more about the process, financial benefits and support available.”
