A RESIDENT thought she was going quackers when she looked in her garden to see a family of little ducklings swimming in her pond.

For Dina Workman did not quite know what to do with the new additions who were only too happy to occupy the back garden at her Chestnut Avenue home.

And it looked as if the feathered friends and their mother did not want to budge from their new-found surroundings in Wheatley Hills.

The 64-year-old said: “I couldn’t believe it, there were about six or seven ducklings and their mother just swimming away in my pond, it was the most amazing thing. I’ve no idea how they got into my garden.

“They were beautiful, wonderful little things.”

Mrs Workman said she would be contacting the RSPCA to find out what to do with the extra additions.
