A major road closure is planned for Epworth next week to make a house safe after a HGV ploughed into it.
The incident occurred last month when a lorry crashed into the lounge of a property at the junction of High Street and Burnham Road.
North Lincolnshire Council will be closing the A161 for reasons of safety to rebuild the damaged property.
The closure will take place from midnight on Tuesday August 27 for two weeks, until Tuesday September 10. Advanced signage will be going out on Monday and Tuesday, August 19-20.
A spokesman said: “When this happened previously a signed diversion for HGV traffic was introduced and local traffic will be able to use adjacent roads.”
The diversion route is as follows: A161; Akeferry Road; Doncaster Road, Westwoodside; B1396; A614 Thorne Road; A18 Tudworth Road, Hatfield; A18 High Levels Bank; A161 Belton.
