STUDENTS at Dearne Valley College will be going the distance for charity when they take on an epic bike ride.
Those studying Sports Coaching and Public Services will go head-to-head in a ‘Tour De Dearne’ challenge to raise money for Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust’s Dr. Ted Children’s Appeal.
They will use exercise bikes for the challenge on Thursday, March 29, with the team that travels the furthest declared the winner.
Sport and Physical Recreation Tutor Mick Blythe said: “The students have worked really hard to organise this forthcoming event. They hope to raise lots of money and with their enthusiasm and commitment I’m sure they will reach their target, I wish them all the best.”
