CHILDREN are being encouraged to become chatterboxes at a weekly session.
The Chatterbugs class takes place every Friday and works with parents and their children who are aged three by offering them interactive ways of talking and listening.
The group, which was originally set up by Lynn Finch and Chris Davies around a year ago, runs for five weeks until February 11 and will cover a range of ways to communicate.
Each week parents take home an activity to use with their children in order to aid their development.
If sessions prove successful, the Chatterbugs staff may lower the age of the children for future groups.
Chatterbugs takes place at the Hedgerow Children’s Centre in Marshland Road from 1pm to 3pm.
