Parents are being urged to get their applications in for their children’s school places for 2014.
Mums and dads have until January 15 to apply for their children’s reception class places for the September academic year intake.
Doncaster Council said applying online is the best way to apply.
Councillor Nuala Fennelly, the council’s cabinet member for children’s services and education and skills, said applying online is easy and quick.
She added: “I cannot stress enough how important it is that parents get their applications in for their children’s reception places, to help avoid disappointment.”
If your child is four-years-old before September 1 2014 and born between 01/09/2009 and 31/08/2010 you can apply for a reception class place.
Visit www.doncaster.gov.uk/admissions and follow the simple step-by-step guide.
A Doncaster Council spokesman said: “Parents will be able to monitor their applications and any decisions online too.
“If your child is in a school nursery, you will be able to obtain a letter and a booklet containing the application form.”
