Doncaster Council has launched new online systems to make accessing pest control services quicker and easier, and to enable people to report lost and found dogs.
Mexborough, Denaby and Conisbrough residents who experience pest infestations in their home can now use the new self–service system. People needing help can choose an appointment time that suits them and pay for the service online.
The information is entered straight into the work schedule of pest control officers in the locality which allows for a faster response time. People can also report found and stray dogs online, which are added to a list on the council’s website.
Councillor Joe Blackham, cabinet member for community safety and neighbourhoods, said: “Doncaster Council continues to increase the number of services that are available online. This is making it simpler for residents to access the services they need.”
