More than 50 Unison members will head to London tomorrow (Friday August 8) to confront bosses of Bridgepoint which owns Care UK.

They are in the midst of a 14-day strike in support of a pay claim for the national living wage of £7.65 an hour – above the current rate of just £7 an hour – and a meaningful pay rise for all staff.

The latest action means the strikers will have taken a total of 48 days’ strike action since February this year.
