Over the Easter weekend employees at Mecca Doncaster held a charity bunny hop to raise funds for Carers Trust.

The local community and Mecca employees hopped over five miles, starting at the club on East Laith Gate, across St Mary’s Bridge all the way down to Cusworth Hall where they were rewarded with a picnic.

Club members and customers raised almost £1,500 for the Carers Trust, Mecca’s partnered charity which helps the millions of unpaid carers across the UK.

Sarah Whittaker, Doncaster Club Manager said, “We had a fantastic turnout, with lots of members joining us to help raise money for a very worthy cause - the achy legs were certainly worth it!”
