A Dearne schoolgirl has been praised for her creativity after her design won a competition to be on the front of an MP’s official Christmas card.

Emily-May Spyve, 10, a pupil at Rawmarsh Rosehill Junior School, was chosen ahead of 10 runners up to design Wath-based MP John Healey’s festive card.

Her drawing of Rudolph the Reindeer will go to hundreds of constituents, politicians and other friends.

She is pictured above with Mr Healey and her design.
