DONCASTER’S branch of the Alzheimer’s Society is set to launch a new dementia cafe next week.

The cafe will open once a month, giving families, carers and people with dementia the chance to get together for a chat, or to see what services are available to them.

The cafe opens for the first time at the Hatfields Public House in Ash Hill Road, Hatfield, on Monday, April 16, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Meals are available for purchase before or after the café from Hatfields public house.

The dates for future cafes are on Mondays May 14, June 18 and July 16. Telephone support is also available by calling 01709 580543.
