A Doncaster man has pleaded guilty to abducting a 14-year-old girl and having sex with her.

John Bush, 35, admitted three charges when he appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday morning.

He pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a child aged 14 between January 1 and June 11 this year, abducting a child between June 9 and June 15, and making off without payment after failing to pay a bill for two hotel rooms worth £120 on June 13.

His case has been adjourned for a pre-sentence report and he will be sentenced by His Hon Judge Paul Watson QC on November 4, who has warned him to expect a prison sentence.

Bush went missing with the teen, who cannot be named, in June this year.

The pair was found five days later at Euston station in London. The girl was returned to the care of Doncaster Council.
