A DONCASTER man has been charged with murder after the body of a 46-year-old woman was found in the boot of her car.
Raymond Billam, 63, of Guilford Road, Wheatley, was set to appear in front of magistrates on Tuesday morning.
The body of Joy Billam was found in the boot of her purple Ford Fiesta Fusion parked just a few hundred yards from her home.
Post mortem results revealed the woman, of Garden Street, Goldthorpe, died from strangulation.
A 16-year-old boy from Doncaster has been charged with assisting offenders in connection with the murder.
He was also set to appear at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Detectives launched the murder investigation following the gruesome discovery of Ms Billam’s body on Saturday.
The car was parked on Doncaster Road, near to the junction with the A635, around midday.
