Doncaster lawyer appointed to police panel

A Doncaster solicitor has been appointed to new police advisory panel

Gareth Owen, partner at the Doncaster office of hlw Keeble Hawson, has been appointed to the Efficiency Advisory Panel for South Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Shaun Wright.

Mr Owen is one of six leading business people nominated from the boards of the three Chambers of Commerce in South Yorkshire, covering Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham and Sheffield..

He said: “I am looking forward to working with the other panel members in this advisory role to help the commissioner achieve his goals. Between us we have an in depth knowledge of the South Yorkshire business community and the particular policing and crime issues they face.”

Mr Owen has been a partner with hlw Keeble Hawson for the last 15 years. His particular expertise is in site acquisitions and disposals, estate management, business leases and secured lending, development work, construction and medical practices.
