A therapy and craft event aimed at raising dementia awareness and funds for a Doncaster based charity is set to take place.
The event organised by DonMentia will take place at The Point, South Parade, on Saturday May 31 from 9am to 2pm
The event will feature a whole host of stalls offering vintage and collectibles, plants and gardening products, handmade jewellery, cards, books, wood work and more.
Visitors on the day will also be given the chance to try out a range of therapies including Indian head massage, reflexology, Reiki, mini facials, head and shoulder massage and nail treatments.
Taster sessions are £10 for 20 minutes. All money raised will go to DonMentia set up by Eileen Harrington, whose husband Donald had severe dementia. Since Donald’s death Eileen has worked continuously to raise funds to help people with dementia and their carers.
