Hyde Park: A Doncaster man was stopped in his tracks after using threatening language on the train. Daniel Baines, 24, of Cusworth House, St James Street, was handed a conditional discharge for 12 months after pleading guilty to the incident that happened on April 24. He was also ordered to pay £85.

bentley: Damaging a garden shed resulted in a conditional discharge for a Doncaster man. John Christie, 44, of Cawdor Street, admitted causing £50 of damage to the shed on July 1. He was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation.

woodlands: Driving without due care and attention landed a motorist with a £5,000 bill. Paul David Robinson, 56, of Vincent Avenue, was found guilty of the offence that took place at Arksey Lane Level crossing on February 3. Robinson was ordered to pay £5,000 to Network Rail.

bentley: A shoplifter was left with a hefty supermarket bill after being fined £400. Frederick Wyatt, 41, of New Street, was also made the subject of a community order and must abide by a ten week curfew after admitting taking a TV and toiletries to the value of £217.96 from Asda on April 23. Wyatt was also ordered to attend a drug rehabilitation programme.
